Difference Between Full Bed and Queen Bed

From diff.wiki
Size is an important thing to consider before buying a mattress.

Nowadays, there are so many options to choose from when it comes to a good bed. Not only are there different brands, there are also different sizes to pay attention to. Here, we will define the full bed and queen bed and see how they differ from each other.

Full Bed[edit]

A full bed is also called a full-size or a double mattress bed. The full bed is usually 53 x 75 inches in size, but it can also be sized 53 x 74 inches. It can fit two individuals, giving them about 27 inches of space each. It is as long as a twin-sized bed, which can make it too short for some people. Many parents opt to use full beds instead of twins for children and teenaers because of the wider space.

Queen Bed[edit]

A queen bed is a popular choice for couples who do not mind sharing the bed’s space between themselves. A queen-sized bed is 60 by 80 inches long - considerably larger than a full bed. This also gives about 30 inches of space for each person. Queen beds are popular in guest rooms or the master’s bedroom.
